This mod requires the X2WotCCommunityHighlander mod installed and enabled. The game will surely crash without it! Get it here!

This mod adds the Dark Elf Blader's outfit by Ryan Reos for both XCom and the Faction Heroes, and both her swords as equipable weapons. Compatible with Dual Wield Melee and Primary Secondaries.

This mod does not include the eyes. You can get them from E3245's EYExtender mod.

This mod includes:

  • The Dark Elf Blader's outfit including hair, with rudimentary physics.
  • Comes in the standard and Crimson variants, with Muscle definition on the body, from Claus' Meaty Abs mod.

Known Issues

  • The belt that comes with the cape sticks around until the player leaves the customization editor (when the soldier disappears). Nothing can be done with that.

Install instructions

How to install

  1. Extract the mod to a folder somewhere using 7-zip or WinRAR.
  2. Move the extracted folder to XCom 2/XCom2-WarOfTheChosen/XComGame/Mods. Make sure the entire folder is in there.
  3. Activate the mod using the Alternate Mod Launcher, the shipped launcher that came with your game version. If it doesn't show up, make sure that the folder is in the proper Mods folder or see below.

Manual Enabling of Mods

If 3 is not applicable, you will need to edit DefaultModOptions.ini in XCom 2/XCom2-WarOfTheChosen/XComGame/Config with Notepad++ or Notepad, or XComModOptions.ini in My Games/XCOM2 War of the Chosen\XComGame\Config.

Add the entry into the config file after the last +ActiveMods entry, or underneath the header:

+ActiveMods=WotC_RyanReos_Char_DarkElfBlader

Save and Close.

Higher tiers of swords show up in the equipment inventory without the requisite research having been completed. Still in early game with no Mag weapons but both mag and beam level swords are available.

Is there any chance this could be made tintable?
